On the sidelines of the "Atom Expo 2024" forum in Sochi, Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó emphasized his country's call for international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and strongly condemned the terrorist attack at Crocus City.

"As you know, Hungary was shocked by the images and videos captured at the Crocus Center. We condemn this brutal form of terrorism in the strongest terms. We must combat terrorism on a global level. It is evident that this challenge is global, and to confront it, we need international cooperation," the Hungarian minister stated.

He continued, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost their loved ones in the incident. We wish them strength, as well as speedy recovery to all those still in hospitals."

Szijjártó concluded, "I also wish for all citizens of Russia, as well as everyone around the world, that such a heinous terrorist attack never recurs in any corner of the globe."

It is worth noting that a group of armed individuals carried out a terrorist attack on the Crocus City complex near Moscow last Friday evening.

Several masked men stormed the building, opening fire on those present, followed by multiple explosions and a subsequent fire. According to the latest data released by the investigative committee, 137 people fell victim to the terrorist attack.
