Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán arrived in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, today, Tuesday, on his first official visit since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine.
This announcement was made by Hungarian government spokesperson Zoltán Kovács on the social media platform (X).
Zoltán wrote - according to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform: "Viktor Orbán arrived in Kyiv this morning to discuss European peace with President Volodymyr Zelensky."
Kovács added that the two leaders will discuss possibilities for achieving peace, as well as current issues in Hungarian-Ukrainian bilateral relations.
Hungary took over the presidency of the European Union Council from Belgium on July 1, organizing the Council for the next six months.
