Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó confirmed on Sunday on his official Facebook page that oil shipments have resumed through the Russian Druzhba pipeline to Hungary.
Oil flows from Russia and Kazakhstan to Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Germany via the Druzhba pipeline were halted on Thursday due to technical problems at a Russian pumping station.
Over the first 11 months of this year, imports from Russia rose 2% to 99.09 million tons, representing 20% of China's crude imports.
Russian energy supplies have become increasingly the focus of attention over the recent period, coinciding with the expiration of an agreement allowing the export of Russian gas through Ukrainian territory at the end of the month, the means by which about half of Russian gas is supplied to Europe.
