Hundreds of protesters gathered in Berlin on Saturday to demonstrate against American billionaire Elon Musk outside a Tesla showroom.

Police estimated around 250 participants, while organizers claimed the number was higher, reaching several hundred.

The protest was organized by a coalition of activist groups, including Campact, Fridays for Future, and the Turn Off the Tap on Tesla alliance.

The aim of the demonstration was to strengthen opposition against Musk and Tesla's operations in Germany. Organizers expressed concerns about Musk's growing influence and accused him of undermining democratic structures.

During the event, Berlin police intervened when a protester displayed a banner showing an image of Musk making a gesture resembling a Nazi salute. Authorities are investigating whether displaying the image violates criminal law.

Public criticism of Elon Musk has intensified in Germany, especially after his involvement as an advisor to former US President Donald Trump and large-scale layoffs at Tesla.
