Hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside a hotel in downtown Vancouver, Canada, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau delivers a speech.
The demonstrators seek to pressure the Canadian PM to cut military support for Israel.
Dozens of protesters lay under white blankets outside the Westin Bayshore hotel in Cole Harbour, where Trudeau was speaking at a private fundraiser for the ruling Liberal Party.
Several hundred others were seen surrounding those on the ground, waving Palestinian flags and banners reading "Free Palestine" amid the war launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip.
Organizers from the group Independent Jewish Voices said the event aims to show solidarity with the Palestinians and call on Canada to do more to end the conflict.
According to his official itinerary, Trudeau met privately with Jewish and Muslim leaders in Vancouver on Thursday.
