Human Rights Watch (HRW), an organization specialized in monitoring the status of human rights across the world, said that the brutality of the Israeli occupation against the  Palestinian protesters in the eastern part of Jerusalem springs from a methodical practice of excessive force and escaping punishment related to tremendous abuses.

Omar Shaker, Director-General of HRW in Israel and Palestine, said that the occupying forces seek to suppress protests and to crush attempts to face the apartheid policies of Israel.

On the other hand, the death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the second day in a row,  rose to 24 martyrs, among them nine children and a woman in addition to injuring more than 100 people including serious injuries regardless of damages of houses and properties of the Palestinians.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health mentioned, in a terse statement, that a young man has been martyred in the south of the Strip hours earlier which raised the number of martyrs to 24 deaths.

The Israeli warplanes targeted houses, apartments, and civil properties in various parts and refugee camps across Gaza.

The occupation closed down the land crossing of the Strip along with preventing fishermen from fishing in the Sea of Gaza.

On her part, May Al Kaylah, Palestine's Minister of Health, urges the international community, groups of human rights, and the international organizations to intervene to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza and Jerusalem.

She indicated that her ministry continues contracting hospitals and health centers in the Strip to provide medical supplies.

However, churches in Palestine tolled their bells to assure the national unity of Palestine's Christians with Muslims against the occupation.

It is worth mentioning the Israeli forces assaulted days ago the Christians who celebrated Easter on the courts of   Alqiama charch in Jerusalem.

Leaders of the Palestinian churches say that there is a plan to evacuate Muslims and Christians from the Palestinian territories.
