English League One side Hull City has announced that Egypt’s Ahmed Salam has signed a new one-year contract.
A statement on Hull’s website read: “We would like to congratulate Ahmed on his new deal and look forward to watching his development continue.”
In the same context, the Head Coach of the team Grant McCann has expressed his happiness with the signing.
“We’re really pleased to see him sign a new deal.”
The young, promising player initially joined the Academy’s Under-12s age group, and has progressed through to be a part of the first team squad on a number of matches this season.
Salam also joined Gainsborough Trinity, who plays in the Premier or second Divison of the Northern Premier League on loan on 1 March 2020 for the rest of the 2019–20 season.
Due to COVID-19, the young talented player could only make 4 appearances before the season was postponed and returned to Hull City.
It’s worth mentioning that International Ahmed Elmohamedy has represented Hull City in the top tier since moving to the Stadium of Light from ENPPI in 2010.
