Huawei to Reveal Mate 40 Series on Oct. 22

Huawei announced on Sunday that it will be launching Mate 40 flagship series through an online event on Oct. 22. Its expecting to see both model, the Huawei Mate 40 and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. Both phones will be powered by Kirin 9000 SoC.

Both Huawei phones will have excellent 50MP rear cameras. In addition, the Pro variant will boast an 80MP ultra-wide camera. They’ll sport a design quite similar to the back's Mate 30.

The Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro series phones are expected to come with an OLED technology screen along with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The standard Mate 40 may come with a 6.5-inch screen and Full HD+ resolution. Meanwhile, the Mate 40 Pro could be equipped with a larger 6.78-inch screen and Quad HD+ resolution.

In recent years, Huawei updated its flagship devices twice a year, with its Mate series announced in September or October and P series in March. In 2019, Huawei Mate 30 devices were the company’s first releases without Google apps following well-publicised US restrictions.

Earlier, the firm released its new “P Smart 2021”, which features a high-resolution rear camera and a large capacity battery at an economical price.

The phone offers an IPS LCD screen measuring 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, and it contains a hole for the 8-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 lens slot.

P Smart 2021 includes an eight-core Kirin 710A processor that works at a frequency of 2.0 GHz and comes with a Mali G51-MP4 graphics processor (Mali G51-MP4), according to Tech news.

The phone offers 4 GB of random access memory (RAM) and 128 GB of internal storage with the ability to expand via external memory cards (microSD). And programmatically, the phone works with Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 user interface, which is based on the Android 10 operating system.

There are four rear cameras, the main resolution is 48 megapixels with an f / 1.8 lens slot, and the second resolution is 8 megapixels and is intended for 120-degree wide photography with an f / 2.4 lens slot.
