The Dar al-Ifta (Egyptian Fatwa Authority) explained how to perform the Tasbih prayer during the last ten days of Ramadan.

The Dar al-Ifta stated that the Tasbih prayer consists of four rak'ahs (units of prayer):

- Then bow and say: "Subhana Rabbiyal 'Adheem" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) 3 times, and say: "Subhan Allah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar" (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest) 10 times.

Then you raise your head from bowing and say: "Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana lakal hamd, mil' as-samawati wa mil'al-ard wa mil'a ma shi'ta min shay'in ba'd" (God hears those who praise Him, Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens and the earth and filling whatever else You will). Then you raise your head from this first prostration and say: "Allahumma ighfir li warhamni wa'afini wahdini warzuqni" (O God, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, guide me, and provide for me). Then you say: "Subhan Allah, wal-hamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar" (Glory be to God, and praise be to God, and there is no god but God, and God is the Greatest) (10 times).

Then you prostrate a second time and say: "Subhana Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) (3 times), and say: "Subhan Allah, wal-hamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar" (Glory be to God, and praise be to God, and there is no god but God, and Then you recite Al-Fatihah and any Surah, and do in the remaining three Rak’ahs the same thing that you did in the first Rak’ah, the method of which we have told you.
