EgyptAir celebrated the New Year today, Tuesday, at Cairo International Airport’s departure lounge, and welcomed the passengers of domestic flights.

EgyptAir distributed New Year gifts, souvenirs, and Christmas candy, while the employees of the National Company were keen to take photos with the passengers and some of the stars, and congratulate them on the New Year.

Noteworthy, this festive holiday prevails everywhere around the world; it is marked by decorating a tree, wearing as “Santa Claus” and giving gifts to others.

However, people also mark the holiday by giving gifts to their beloved ones or celebrating by creating a secret Santa, in which people are randomly assigned a person to whom they give a gift.

Moreover, the music scene becomes busy in December, as many superstars hold concerts to celebrate Christmas and the New Year’s Eve with their fans in Egypt and the Arab world.

This year’s festive season will highlight the performances of Medhat Saleh, Wael Jassar, Ali El Haggar, Ramy Sabry, Ramy Ayach, and others.
