The Houthi movement announced that it launched a series of attacks targeting Israel’s military and infrastructure, claiming responsibility for drone and missile strikes on several key sites.
According to a statement carried by Cairo News Channel, the Houthis said they had struck the Israeli Army General Staff headquarters, Ben Gurion Airport, and Ashdod Port using four drones.
They further claimed to have targeted the Israeli electricity company in Hadera, located on the Mediterranean coast, with another drone.
In addition to the strikes inside Israel, the group said it also attacked a ship in the northern Red Sea, using two drones and a missile.
There has been no immediate confirmation from Israeli authorities regarding the scale or success of the reported attacks.
The announcement highlights the Houthis’ continued expansion of their operations beyond Yemen, following repeated threats to target Israel and shipping routes in the Red Sea.
