People love it whenever on fashion or it is classic but in any case it is related to comfort.
The Egyptian stylist Mai Kandil decided two years ago to knock on the door to design house clothes based on the beloved classic.

Kandil was inspired by the luxury of house clothes in films dated back to the era of white and black. She used the Egyptian cotton from a contemporary perspective while preserving the identity of the Egyptian house and appreciation for the upscale Egyptian cotton.
She named her designs ANTIKA in appreciation of all the classic details of the beautiful past to present it to us as "premium clothing"

* Development in design
The designer feels her way inside the Egyptian market and bid to spot trends of the Egyptian customer. When she marketed her first group there were notices because she was addressing young women but found turnout from mothers as well.
The designer became more interested in details linked to mothers that facilitate the process of dressing and movement. She was also interested in providing designs suitable for pregnant women.

* Small details
There is no doubt that house clothes have many small details that the designer takes into account and selects them with precision, such as relying on the netting cotton for ornament, or caring for cleaning of the interior parts of the piece.
Kandil sees that the pocket is a beautiful addition to the house clothes and it is indispensable and has many functional uses. She adds the inner pocket that does not appear in the model. She began to care about packaging design to reach the elegant costumer whether buys online or through direct purchase.
At the time of the Coronavirus she relies on a freight company concerned with sterilization

* Summer colors
When she prepares for spring and summer group, the designer relies on the raw materials of lino, viscose, fine cotton voile and Joplin. She learned from her experience to use a well-prepared cotton fabric.
The designer chose for this season a delightful colors that helps to give positive energy inside the house in light of the ban of the Coronavirus. She presented green, yellow, baby- blue and pink.

Those colors all came in wooded groups that give calm and refreshing at the same time, whereas her previous for last summer relied on white.
Also, her group for last winter was made of heavy cotton fabric with fresh and warm colors.

* Positive dreams
It's great if the designer has dreams that she strives for making them come to true with his effort and talent.
Qandil dreams to come out with her designs from the Egyptian luxury cotton to the world of export. She knows that such a step should be preceded by many vocational and professional steps.
Qandil strives seriously to attain her aims and realize the conditions of the global market. She works diligently because she knows very well that the export is an important step for her and also for and economy her country.
