Hot Weather in Egypt on Monday, Cairo 31°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast, while South Upper Egypt will experience scorching conditions.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

There is a chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Wind speeds between 30 and 40 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur in across the country, stirring up sand and dust in the Red Sea governorate and the south of the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate to moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 31°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
