Former Egypt manager Hossam El-Badry has been nominated for the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) World Best National Coach.
El-Badry was sacked as the Pharaohs’ coach in early September following Egypt’s 1-1 draw with Gabon in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Despite the dismissal, El-Badry didn’t lose any of his nine matches at the helm of the Egypt national team [winning five and drawing four].
