On Tuesday, Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts announced the names of Architecture Award jury members for the upcoming edition of Art Awards.
The names of the jury members are Soheir Hawas, professor of Architecture and Urban Design at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Mohamed Abu Seada, the director of the National Authority of Civilization Coordination, Hamdy El Sotouhy, Architecture specialized in museum & develop heritage areas, and member of The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), an engineer Hatem El Said.
During the first meeting, the jury members started setting the standards of the upcoming contest of the Architecture Award for 2022.
Moreover, they decided to bring forward the date of participants' registration to give artists more time for finalizing their projects.
The total value of the prize is EGP 100,000, EGP 50.000 for the first place, EGP 30.000 for the second one, and EGP 20.000 for the third. In addition, there are a number of honorary certificates for unique projects.
It is worth mentioning that the foundation announced the winners of the second round last March.
