On Tuesday, Egyptian actress, Horeya Farghaly underwent a 10-hour surgery on her nose, in a hospital in Chicago, the United States.
Farghaly went into the operations room at 04:30 AM and exit at 6:00 PM (Cairo local time).
During the delicate operation, the medical team removed part of the bones of her rib cage and fat cells from her scalp to implant it in the nose.
She was set to undergo the surgery last Thursday, but it was postponed due to a health problem.
The team will put Farghaly under close medical observation. She will also undergo oxygen therapy in the face to activate the cells that were implanted in that area.
The actress will undergo a second operation after 20 days, during which some skin cells that were not adapted to in the first transplant will be restored.
