Homeland Shield Forces entered the city of Mukalla in Yemen’s eastern Hadramout province on Saturday and deployed across key streets and neighborhoods, according to Yemeni television.
The report said the forces began spreading throughout the city as part of security measures aimed at maintaining stability and public order. No clashes or security incidents were immediately reported following the deployment.
Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout, is a strategic coastal city and has witnessed periodic security operations amid ongoing political and military developments in Yemen.
