Hoda Yassa: Arab Women Investors Union Promotes Intra-Arab Investment, Sustainable Development

Dr. Hoda Galal Yassa, president of the Arab Women Investors Union and a member of Egypt’s Foreign Affairs Council, said the union is intensifying efforts to strengthen intra-Arab investment and economic cooperation, stressing that sustainable development remains the cornerstone of its strategy.

In statements to See website, Yassa said the union adopts an integrated approach that balances economic growth with social empowerment, focusing on long-term, productive projects rather than short-term financial aid. She noted that the union works through both economic and social tracks, supporting joint investments, trade exchange and women’s economic empowerment across the Arab region.

Yassa said the union has implemented hundreds of development projects in underserved areas, enabling beneficiaries—particularly women—to become small business owners through training, production support and market access.

She also highlighted the Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Summit, organized annually by the union, as a key platform for launching partnerships in industry, tourism and infrastructure.

Yassa emphasized that the union plays a growing role in people-to-people diplomacy, using economic interests to promote stability, cooperation and sustainable growth across the region.
