Egyptian people will be on their pins and needles, waiting for Cairo's derby between Al Ahly and Zamalek in the 2020-21 Egypt Cup final.

The match will take place on Thursday on July, 21 at Cairo Stadium. The Red Devils powered into the final after securing a 2-0 win  over Petrojet in the semi-final, while the White Knights advanced to final after snatching a 2-1 hard-fought victory over Aswan in the last four.

Where and When the match takes place?

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to hold the match on Thursday, July 21 at Cairo International Stadium.

Who will officiate the encounter? 

The football governing body in Egypt will announce the appointment of a foreign referee to be in charge of the match.

Both Clubs' Kits? 

Al Ahly will wear their official kit, which consists of Red shits and white short, while Zamalek will wear all-blue kit. Regarding this matter, the EFA officials said that the reason behind this decision is the draw.

The Egypt Cup Format?

If both clubs played out a draw during the original time, they will move to play extra time. If the extra time ended in a draw, they will go to penalties shootouts to decide the champions.

Both clubs had previously met on 31 occasions before in Egypt Cup final, with the Red Devils winning 16, and the White Knights securing 10 victories, while the draw decided the result 5 times.

Both clubs met in the final 20 times before, as Al Ahly won 9, and Zamalek won 8, while the other three clashes ended in draws.
