Hisense Firm Launches 1st 5G E-ink Smartphone

Hisense released on Tuesday the Hisense A7 5G reading smartphone. Hisense A7 is the world’s first E-ink display smartphone with 5G connectivity.

The device is powered by UNISOC Tiger T7510 chipset, which is the same chip that’s found inside the Hisense F50 5G smartphone. This silicon is further paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Unlike most phones in the market, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack along with AK4377AECB audio DAC with support for Hi-Res Audio, according to News reportes.

Moreover, the back of the handset sports an AG anti-glare matte panel housing a single camera accompanied by an LED flash. The rear also houses a capacitive fingerprint sensor. The right side of the device includes power as well as volume keys, and left side features an AI key, which can be mapped to perform one of the several actions.

Also, it has a new alarm clock lock screen style, a new UI, 500+ icon customization and stepless adjustment of fonts. You can also long press the Mozhi key and speak to quickly open inspirational shorthand notes and directly record and convert them as a text.

On other hand, Hisense has there own app store on this phone, but it only has roughly 100 apps, that are primarily geared towards there Chinese audience. Now this phone does support hundreds of languages and can pull up native keyboards and totally change the UI.
