New "Hide and Seek" game sparks controversy on social media

"Hide and Seek" is one of the lovely games that defined Egyptian childhood for long years.

‘Khalawees’ (Peekaboo) reflects a remarkable stage in the game as it precedes the final stage of it.

However, this traditional game was reconstructed on social media in a new form, flaming the audience’s wonder, after many celebrities posted their photos captioned with ‘Khalawees.’

Also, the photos depicted several stars while hiding their eyes with their hands.

Moreover, various explanations attempted unveil the truth behind such a campaign: Is it a program? Is it a new work? Is it a new social campaign?

Several celebrities participated in the mysterious campaign such as actresses Laila Elwi, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Badriya Tolba, Nourhan, Mona Abdel Ghani, Marwa Abdel Moniem.

Also, a number of TV presenters took part in the campaign such as Sherihan Abu Al-Hasan, Mofida Shiha, Doaa Farouk, Ibrahim Fayek, Nashwa Al-Hofy, Ahmed Younis, Amal Mabdi, and former football player Sayed Moawad.

Until now, no clear explanation behind the reason for such a campaign, however, more participants still join it.

Only the campaign members know the code of it, let’s wait and know.
