Lebanese soprano Hiba Tawaji and her husband, jazz trumpeter and composer Ibrahim Maalouf welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The soprano announced Thursday the news on Instagram along with sharing a black and white closeup photo of the baby's hand holding his father's finger.

In May, the duo announced the pregnancy by gracing the cover of the Paris match magazine, which featured the soprano debuting her growing bump.
Tawaji and Maalouf tied the knot in France in September 2020 after postponing the wedding in August following the explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
