The Lebanese Hezbollah military media announced that its fighters targeted two Israeli military helicopters in the airspace of Shtula, Shumira, and Ivn Menachem with surface-to-air missiles and forced them to leave the airspace immediately.

The party said in a statement: “In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted two Israeli military helicopters on Wednesday evening.”

The statement indicated that the missiles were launched “in the airspace of Shtula, forcing the intruding Israeli choppers to leave the area’s airspace immediately.”

Also earlier today, Hezbollah announced targeting Israeli sites on the border with Lebanon.

Media correspondents also reported that one person was killed and another was injured by Israeli army sniper fire that targeted a four-wheel-drive car they were in in southern Lebanon.
