Today, Saturday, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced the targeting of new Israeli sites on the Lebanese-Israeli border.
Hezbollah's Al-Manar channel reported that "resistance elements targeted the Zionist enemy's position in Jal al-Alam on the borders of the town of Naqoura in southern Lebanon."
Hezbollah members also targeted the Al-Jardah site on the border of the town of Al-Dhahira, south of Lebanon, in the western sector.
The caretaker Prime Minister in Lebanon, Najib Mikati, affirmed earlier today that “the priority is to stop Israel’s aggression in Gaza and southern Lebanon.”
Mikati said, during his meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the Jordanian capital, Amman, that “Lebanon is committed to international legitimacy, the implementation of International Resolution No. 1701, and coordination with UNIFIL forces.”
He called on "the international community to put pressure on Israel to stop the daily attacks on its land and sovereignty by land, sea and air," according to the National News Agency in Lebanon.
