The Lebanese group Hezbollah announced that it carried out a drone attack targeting the Katsavia base in the Golan Heights.
According to the group, the strike was conducted using a swarm of drones, which were launched toward the military base located in the occupied Syrian Golan.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces said on Friday that Hezbollah had fired around 70 rockets toward Israel since midnight between Thursday and Friday.
Israeli military spokesperson Nadav Shoshani, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, told reporters that “around 70 rockets were launched toward Israel,” noting that a large number of the rockets were fired from southern Lebanon.
He added that since Israel began launching strikes on Lebanon earlier this week, Israeli forces have hit more than 500 targets and killed over 70 Hezbollah militants.
