The Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Friday that it had targeted several Israeli sites and caused direct casualties in them.
Hezbollah said in its statement: “This Friday afternoon, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance attacked the Abu Dajj site with appropriate weapons and destroyed part of its technical equipment.”
The party added in a later statement: “This afternoon, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance attacked with guided missiles a number of Israeli sites in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba Hills.”
In a related context, Russia Today's correspondent in Lebanon reported that a batch of missiles were fired from the Arqoub area in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon towards northern Israel.
The Israeli army spokesman stated: “In the last hour, gunmen fired shells from within Lebanese territory towards an Israeli army position in the Avivim area and towards the Misgav Am area, without causing any casualties,” pointing out that “army artillery is bombarding the sources of fire.”
