The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Tuesday that Hezbollah launched between 20 and 30 rockets from Lebanon targeting the Mount Meron area, with no casualties reported.
The IDF stated that the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted several rockets, while others landed in open areas.
Hezbollah in Lebanon announced on Tuesday that it carried out three major military attacks on Israeli positions and settlements along the Lebanese-Israeli border.
Through its Telegram channel, Hezbollah claimed to have bombarded the command headquarters of the Sahel Battalion at the Beit Hillel barracks with a volley of Katyusha rockets.
Hezbollah also reported targeting the Kabri settlement with a volley of Katyusha rockets.
Furthermore, the group stated it targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement "Kfar Khalasa" with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
Hezbollah indicated that these attacks were in retaliation for Israeli assaults on southern Lebanese villages and homes, which resulted in civilian casualties, particularly in Kafr Tibnit, where civilians, including three children, were killed.
