New York City is the richest city in the world, according to the "Henley & Partners" report for the year 2023, as the city includes the largest number of wealthy people with a net worth exceeding $1 million, which number 340,000 people, in addition to 58 billionaires, and 724 people whose fortune exceeds $100 million.

The list of the 50 richest cities included 3 Arab cities. Dubai ranked 20th in the world with 68,400 millionaires, 15 billionaires, and 206 people whose wealth exceeds $100 million.

Abu Dhabi ranked second in the Arab world and 39 globally, with 24,200 millionaires.

Doha ranked 44th in the world, and the third in the Arab world, with the number of millionaires reaching 21,500 people, and 48 ultra-wealth owners exceeding $100 million.

While the Saudi capital, Riyadh, ranked fourth in the Arab world, and 47th in the world, with more than 18,100 millionaires whose wealth exceeds $1 million, and 8 billionaires, and 63 people whose wealth exceeds $100 million.

As for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, it ranked fourth in the Arab world, with more than 7,400 millionaires, 5 billionaires, and 27 people whose wealth exceeds the $100 million mark.

The Emirate of Sharjah had the highest rates of increase in the number of millionaires in the Arab world and the 7th in the world at a rate of 84% during the past decade, bringing their number to 3,800 people.

Casablanca came on the list, with the number of millionaires increasing by 28% to 2,800 people.
