The first section of the exhibition included more than 200 designs created by students of the department of advertising. The cans were inspired by the African culture to go along with the Africa Cup of Nations.

A website named 'packaging of the world' featured students' designs and praised their works. These designs came as a part of the curriculum for the subject 'covers and packages design' under the supervision of Dr. Nagwa El Adawy and Dr. Dalia Mohsen.

The exhibition also included a section for food packaging that contained designs showing Egyptian culture. Also, some logos were designed for pizza restaurants, bakeries and seafood restaurants.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Maysoon Kotb, the dean of the faculty of applied arts, the heads of the departments, the federation of industry representatives, a big number of companies and professors as well as students. The exhibition will run till Thursday, June 20th, 2019 in the faculty's main hall.
