A source in the Egyptian Football Team said on Monday that defender Ahmed Hegazy will be out of the Pharaohs encounters in the World Cup qualifiers play-offs against Senegal.
Ittihad Jeddah's defender has suffered an injury during the Pharaohs encounter against Morocco in the last eight of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The source added that Hegazy will need time to recover from his injury and it is so hard that he will be ready for Senegal's encounters.
The Pharaohs will clash against Senegal on March 23 in Cairo, before playing the second leg in Senegal on March 29.
