Heba Magdi Joins TV Series “Forsa Tanya”

Egyptian actress, Heba Magdi has joined the cast of Yasmine Sabri’s new TV series "Forsa Tanya” (Second Chance), which will premiere in Ramadan 2020.

Magdi began filming her scenes in the series on Sunday, which featured scenes with actor Mohamed Diab.

The TV series will be written by Mostafa Gamal Hashem, directed by Morcous Adel, and produced by Synergy production company.

The production company, headed by Tamer Morsi, had also signed with a number of stars for the production of their new TV series that they will participate in the Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with, including Mona Zaki, Amir Karara, Youssef El Sherif, and Mohamed Ramadan.

Prominent actor, Adel Emam will also participate in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with TV series “Valentino”, which is also produced by Synergy.

Emam’s TV series was scheduled to be premiered this year in Ramadan, but the series filming stopped without clear reasons.

This was the prominent actor’s first time to be absent from the Ramadan 2019 drama marathon, after seven years.

It is worth mentioning that Magdi, born on July 28, 1988, is an Egyptian actress, singer, and former ballet dancer.

She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ain Shams in the department of theater criticism. She also studied Arab music in the Academy of Art.

Magdi kicked off her acting career with joining the Egyptian Opera House under the leadership of Dr. Gamal Salama, and then trained under Maestro Salah Aram.

Afterward, she appeared in TV series “Boogy We Tamtam” (Boogy and Tamtam) and in “Fawazeer Amo Fouad” between 1998 and 2003.

Magdi made her first appearance in drama production in TV series “El Aid Al Wan,”.

She also appeared in several children’s TV programs, including Fathy Abd El Wahab and Rania Farid Shoky’s “A’ila Magnuna Gedan” (A Really Crazy Family).

Magdi’s career really took off with the TV series “Ana We Ha’ola’” (Me and These Guys) starring prominent actor Mohamed Sobhy.

Afterward, she appeared in the series “El Farisa We El Seyad” (The Prey and the Hunter) with actor Mamdouh Abdelalim.

After taking many roles, Magdi has proven her talent and become one of the most famous TV stars.

She is best known for her roles in TV series “Qasset Al-Ams” (2008), in TV series “Al A’ar” (2010), in TV series “Gabal Al Halal” (2014), in TV series “Waly Al-Aahd” (2015), in TV series “Leaabet Eblis” (2015), in play “King Lear” (2019), and in TV series “Forsa Tanya” (2019).

In 2016, Magdi and singer Mohamed Mohsen tied the knot, amid the attendee of many Egyptian celebrities, such as prominent actor Yehia El-Fakharany.

They welcomed their first child the following year, a daughter named Dahab.
