The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue experiencing a rise in the temperature on Thursday.
Hot weather to extremely hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during the daylight hours.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in the Northwest Coast.
Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, and Sinai will experience gusts of wind reaching speeds of 30 to 35 km/h, limiting horizontal visibility to less than 1000 meters in the Northwest Coast, Upper Egypt, and the Western Sahara.
Light to moderate rainfall, sometimes thunderous, is predicted to prevail intermittently in the Red Sea mountain trail, Central and South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, the Gulf of Aqaba, El Salloum, Siwa, and Marsa Matruh.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast
surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with southeast surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 37°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
