The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will continue experiencing a rise in the temperature on Sunday.
Hot weather is also predicted to prevail in most parts of the country and extremely hot weather to hit the South Sinai and south of the country.
Wind will be active across the country, stirring sand and dust in South Sinai, North Upper Egypt, and Western Sahara.
It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez, Gulf of Aqaba, and the Red Sea, with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5 to 3 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between southeast and northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderate weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 38°C in Cairo, 34°C in Alexandria, 37°C in Marsa Matruh, 43°C in Sohag, 44°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
