Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population announced, on Saturday, that 903 patients have been discharged from hospitals following recovery in the past 24 hours, bringing total recoveries to 213,628.

"The country recorded 181 new Coronavirus cases on Saturday, and 27 deaths," Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population said.

According to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Health, the Minister’s Spokesman Khaled Megahd revealed: “Egypt reported relatively few cases and deaths since the outbreak began in February 2020.”

It’s worth mentioning that the country has imposed new coronavirus prevention measures and other safety regulations in response to the spread of the highly infectious Delta variant of the Coronavirus throughout India and across the world.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) warned of a worrying new mutation, emphasizing how the morphing pathogen continues to challenge a return to pre-pandemic life worldwide.
