Health Ministry: COVID-19 Vaccination Is Available for Egyptians, Foreigners

Egypt's Ministry of Health and population said on Tuesday that COVID-19 vaccination is available for all Egyptians, and foreigners, free of charge. 

In a post on Facebook, the ministry added that Coronavirus vaccines are safe and effective.

Earlier, the ministry said that the Coronavirus vaccine is safe for pregnant and lactating women, stressing that vaccines are available in all centers for free.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the ministry urged citizens to get the COVID-19 vaccine, which contributes to protecting family members from severe infection.

Moreover, it stressed that the Egyptian state spares no effort in providing free COVID-19 vaccines to all citizens, as part of the ministry’s keenness on the public health and the state’s gains in addressing the pandemic.
