Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, reviewed, during cabinet weekly meeting, a report on the epidemiological situation in Egypt.
At the beginning of his presentation, Health minister stressed the need for citizens to continue adhering to the precautionary measures, noting that since mid-January until now, Egypt have been witnessing a slight, gradual increase in coronavirus cases, due to a number of factors.
Dr. Abdel Ghaffar explained that the number of deaths decreased during the seventh week of 2023, compared to the sixth week of this year.
