Head of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council Arrives in Juba

Head of Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan arrived on Monday, in Juba.

Al-Burhan was received at Juba International Airport by the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, and members of the Sudanese mission to South Sudan, where an official reception ceremony was held for him.

Head of Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council will hold talks with President Salva Kiir on ways to strengthen and advance bilateral relations between the two countries in order to achieve the aspirations of the two peoples.

Moreover, they will discuss the latest developments in Sudan, in addition to issues of common concern.

During his visit, Al-Burhan is accompanied by the designated Foreign Minister, Ali Al-Sadiq, and Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
