The Head of the Al-Ashraf Syndicate, Sherif Mahmoud El-Sherif, expressed his sincere gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his ongoing commitment to the restoration and development of the mosques and shrines of the Prophet Muhammad’s family (Ahl Al-Bayt).

In a statement issued on behalf of the Al-Ashraf community in Egypt and abroad, Sherif El-Sherif praised the President’s directives, most recently reflected in the renovation of the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, which officially reopened at dawn today.

A Cultural and Spiritual Revival

The renovations, he said, not only reflect Egypt's dedication to preserving Islamic heritage, but also aim to enhance the surrounding areas—including roads, squares, and public facilities—in Historic Cairo and Fatimid-era sites. The efforts also showcase the architectural splendor of these sacred sites, turning them into key tourist attractions for both local and international visitors.

Rebuilding the Modern Egyptian State

Sherif El-Sherif emphasized that the reconstruction of mosques is a core pillar of the modern Egyptian state under President El-Sisi’s leadership, noting that Ahl Al-Bayt shrines have received particular attention in this nationwide campaign.

He extended his thanks to the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, the Ministry of Endowments, Cairo Governorate, and all those who contributed to the refurbishment of the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, praising every hand that worked to serve the family of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family and companions).

In conclusion, he prayed that Egypt remains a land of peace, prosperity, and spiritual illumination, asking God to bless the country and guide its leaders toward all that is good.
