Haytham Shaker New Album Ranks on iTunes for Second Time

Egyptian superstar, Haytham Shaker's new album "Maarefa Adema" managed to rank on Egypt’s “iTunes top 100-music album” chart for the second time, marking a glorious comeback after a long absence.

Moreover, the album managed to top the chart after 10 days from its previous rank on the chart on August 11, confirming that his popularity was untouchable.

It has also managed to go viral on Twitter in less than two days from its August 7 release, as well as trended on Egypt's YouTube tending list.

During his campaign for the album, he released music video “Matwasonesh”, which was filmed in Greece.

Moreover, Haytham is scheduled to film three music videos from the album.

The preparation period for this album lasted more than 5 years.

Maarefa Adema features 14 songs.

In this album, Haytham had cooperated with a notable group of songwriters and prominent composers including Ayman Bahgat Kamar, Amir Teima, Bahaa El Din Mohamed, Amr Mostafa, Nader Abdallah, Mohamed Refai, Walid Saad, Mohamed Yehia, and others.

‘The story behind his disappearance’

Shaker celebrated his album success on his official “Facebook” account and unveiled the reason behind his long absence from the entertainment industry.

The pop star announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, but recovered from it.

The disease was the reason for the release of his new album was delayed.

His statement shocked the audience and the entertainment industry.

Many celebrities and fans have showered him with their support and love and wished him a full recovery from the disease, stressing their admiration for his remarkable talent.

The pop star is considered one of the most beautiful voices of his generation.
