On Thursday, Egyptian singer and actor Haytham Shaker announced that he contracted COVID-19.
He posted on his Facebook account that he tested positive for the Coronavirus, and he asked everyone's prayers.
Born in 1983, Shaker's career started in 2001 after releasing his hit, "Ehlef Belah," followed by his first album, "Khalek Ganby" which gained good success.
He released his last album two years ago under the theme of "Maarefa Kadima" and it consisted of 12 original songs such as "Ehna Eftraa'na," "Leh'teeny," and "Mesh Mohem Ana."

Last year, he participated in his first TV show, "Hob Omri" written by Fedaa' El Shandaweli, and directed by Abdel Azziz Hashad.
