The US Democratic National Committee announced that Vice President Kamala Harris has received enough votes to secure the Democratic Party's nomination to run against Republican candidate Donald Trump.
The Kamala Harris campaign team announced Friday that it raised $310 million in July, since the Vice President replaced Joe Biden in running for the November elections.
The huge sums raised in US presidential election campaigns are spent largely on video clips promoting the results of the candidates and their promises. They are widely published on the Internet and on television channels in the months leading up to the vote.
