Hany Shaker Re-elected Head of Musicians' Syndicate

“Prince of the Arab Songs” Hany Shaker was re-elected yesterday Tuesday as the Head of Musicians' Syndicate.

The elections took place at the Syndicate’s headquarters, in Al Bahr Al Aazam, Giza Governorate.

Shaker has received a majority of votes from the Syndicate’s General Assembly, who voted in the elections in Cairo or other governorates.

He won 1532 votes, beating his opponent Egyptian singer, Mostafa Kamel, who got 589 votes.

Moreover, Nadia Mostafa, Alaa Salama, Helmi Abdel Baki, Mansour Mohamed Kamel, Khaled Mohamed Bayoumi El Sayed, Atef Imam, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou El Magd, and Mostafa Helmy were elected as members of the syndicate's board of directors.

Many singers had voted in the elections including, Nader Abou El Leef, Ghada Ragab, Rico, and others.
