A statement issued by Egypt's Musicians Syndicate unveiled that its head, Hany Shaker, and members had accepted Hamo Beka's apology for the what he had done against them.
The statement added that Shaker had asked the Syndicate's lawyer, Counselor Yasser Kantoush, to drop the lawsuit filed by the Syndicate against Beka, for the well-being of his and his family's future.
In October, an Egyptian court sentenced the mahraganat singer to two years in prison for threatening the Syndicate of breaking into it, as well as for insulting the Syndicate Council members and its head.
Beka had apologized many times to the Syndicate and Shaker in several TV shows and on social media, however, Shaker insisted that the law take its course.
He posted a video on social media apologizing to Shaker and members of the Syndicate Council, stressing that he had submitted a request to the Syndicate to drop the lawsuit.
