Hannah El Zahed Not to Participate in Ramadan 2020

Egyptian actress Hannah El Zahed will not participate in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon, due to not finding the role she aspires to play.

The actress chooses to focus on cinema this year, as she prepares to star in two new movies.

El Zahed had contracted on the first and agreed to participate in the second.

This will be El Zahed's first time to be absent from the Ramadan drama marathon in six years.

The actress was present in every Ramadan in a series or two, she kicked it off with TV series "Farq Tawqit" in 2014.

In 2015, El Zahed co-starred in TV series "Mawlana Al-asheq", and in TV series "Alf Leila Wa Leila". Later on, she appeared in TV series "Al Mizan" and "Mamoun Wa Shurakah", then, in 2017 with TV series "Fel La La Land".

El Zahed had co-starred in 2018 TV series “Ayoub” and in TV series “Sok Ala Akhwatak".

She participated in 2019 with two artistic works, which were TV series “El wad Sayed el Shahat”, and Radio drama series “Arabie engliezi” (Arabic English).

It is worth mentioning that El Zahed, born on January 5, 1994, made her debut in 2003 film "Al Meshakhsaty".

In 2009, El Zahed co-starred with prominent actor Mohamed Sobhi as his granddaughter in TV series "Yawmeyat Wanees we Ahfadoh".

The actress kept away from the entertainment industry for years, where she later resumed her acting career in 2014 film"Khettet Jimmy", and appeared in the same year in Tamer Hosny's TV series "Farq Tawqit".

Farq Tawqit co-starring Tamer Hosny, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohsen Mohie Eldein, Afaf Shoaib, Nicole Saba, Dhafer El Abidine, Mai Selim, Ahmed el Saadany, and others.

The TV series is written by Mohamed Soliman Abdul Malek and directed by Islam Khairy.

She is known for her roles in 2019 TV series “El wad Sayed el Shahat”, in 2018 TV series “Ayoub”, in 2018 TV series “Sok Ala Akhwatak", in 2017 TV series “Fel La La Land”, in 2016 TV series “Al Mizan”, in 2015 TV series “Mawlana Al-asheq”, in 2015 TV series “El Boyoot Asrar”, in 2015 TV Series “Alf Leila Wa Leila”, and in 2014 TV series "Farq Tawqit".

El Zahed is also known for her roles in 2018 film “Uqdat el-Khawagah”, and in 2014 film "Khettet Jimmy".

The Egyptian actress is married to an Egyptian actor, Ahmed Fahmy. The couple tied the knot in a magical wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, on September 11, 2019.

They tied the knot one year after they announced their engagement.

The pair were engaged in 2018 after a small love story, in El Zahed’s home, amid the attendee of their families and close friends, on August 16.
