The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Sunday was honoured during the closing ceremony of the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship.
The Egyptian prime minister attended the final match between Denmark and Sweden in Cairo Stadium Sports Hall, where Denmark was crowned as champions.
Madbouli handed the medals to all the teams.
Madbouli said that the Egyptian state succeeded in organising the tournament, despite the spread of coronavirus pandemic worldwide.

The Egyptian prime minister also hailed the great performance, delivered by the Egyptian national team, who dazzled the world, despite their 39-38 loss to Denmark.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt hosted the tournament from January 13 till January 31.
