Hanady Mehanna Joins TV Series “Dahab Eira”

Rising actress Hanady Mehanna has joined the cast of Yousra's TV Series “Dahab Eira” (Fake Gold), which will premiere in Ramadan 2020.

The TV series is written by Amin Gamal and Ahmed Adel,  and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz.

Dahab Eira is co-produced by United Media Services and El Adl Group.

The director is working on selecting the rest of the cast, after Hala Shiha, Bayoumi Fouad, and Joumana Murad have joined.

Mehanna will also participate in Ramadan with the series "Fatwa" co-starring Yasser Galal, which she currently shooting.

It is written by Hany Sarhan, directed by Hussein Al-Manbawi, and produced by Synergy production company.

The series also co-stars her fiancé Ahmed Khaled Saleh,  Mai Omar, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Naglaa Badr, Riad El-Khouly, Magdy Fekry, Ahmed Khalil, Adel Al Far, Maha Nassar, Safwa, and Leila Ahmed Zahir.

The theaters are currently screening Mehanna's latest movie "Highschool Girls".

Muhanna was born on July 28, 1997, to a renowned composer Hany Muhanna. She studied business administration in Barcelona. The actress managed to prove her acting talents despite taking a few roles, which included TV series "Zelzal", TV series "Hekaity", TV series "Baraka", and TV series "Afrah Eblis" (Part 2).

It is worth mentioning that Civene Muhammad Hafiz Naseem‏, mostly known as Yousra, was born on March 10, 1951.

She was spotted by photographer Abdul Haleem Nasr who gave her a role in his debut as a filmmaker.

Yousra is best known for her TV appearances on “Arees we aroussa”(Groom and bride)‏, “Al-shaahed al-waheed” (The only witness)‏, ”Hayaat al-Gohary”‏ (al-Gohary’s life), “Raafat al-Haggaan”‏, “Sayyedat al-fondok” (The Lady of the hotel)‏, “Awaan al-ward” (A time for flowers)‏, “Ayna Kalby?” (Where is my heart?), ”Malak rowhy”(King of my soul), “Ahlam A’deya” (Normal Dream), “Saraya Abdeen”, and “Ladina Aqwal Okhra” (We have Further Comments).

The actress also played stage roles like “Ka’b aaly i.e. High heels” and “Lamma baba yenaam i.e. When daddy sleeps”.

She is married to Khaled Selim, the son of football Legend Saleh Selim and the sister-in-law of actor Hesham Selim.

The actress’s pure talent flourished in renowned film director Youssef Chahine’s “Eskendereyya kamaan we kamaan” (Alexandria again and forever”), “Al-mohaager” (The immigrant), and “Eskendereyya New York” (Alexandria New York).

Among her most famous cinematic roles are films “Al-‘assefa” (The storm)‏, “Al-gou’” ( The Hunger)‏, “Al-mansy” (The forgotten), and “Toyour al-zalaam” (The birds of darkness).

The actress has frequently acted with prominent actor, Adel Imam and shined through her roles in “Al-irhab wal kabab”‏, “Ala Bab El Wazir”‏, and “Al-avokato”.

During her career, she has presented a large number of artistic works in Egyptian cinema and television drama.
