Hamza Namira's 'Fady Shwaya' Hits 20 Million Views on YouTube

In just two weeks, "'Fady Shwaya" song has surpassed 20 million views on YouTube, " this hit song takes most major music videos months to achieve," according to a statement from YouTube.

"'Fady Shwaya" reached the 20 million mark faster than any other song in 2021.

In fact, it reached the 20 million mark faster than every other video in the last 2 years with one exception -- Hassan Shakoush's "Bnt Elgiran," which reached 45 million YouTube views in just four weeks in 2020.

"The hit song 'Fady Shwaya' is number one on YouTube’s trending page for Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, Kuwait and Qatar, and is in the top 10 in all Arab countries," Hamza Namira, an Egyptian singer announced earlier about his composition of Khalil Ezz Eldin lyrics, arranged by Karim Abdel-Wahab, who is also credited for 'Mawlood Sanat 80'.

Namira, 40, established 2021 with his name top trending in Egypt and the Arab world on several mega music and news platforms, including YouTube, where he has been viewed over millions of times on his 2.5 million-subscriber official channel.

It's worth noting that Namira was the main composer of his new album 'Mawlood Sanat 80' (Born in 1980) and recorded several instruments including electric guitar and oud, collaborated with a few acclaimed soloists like Egyptian pop trademark guitarist Mostafa Aslan for the album, which features a number of renowned writers like Omar Taher, Mohamed El-Shafei, Montaser Hegaziand and creative producers like Abdel-Wahab.
