The Palestinian movement Hamas has reiterated the urgent need to open border crossings and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, stressing the importance of addressing the humanitarian crisis caused by the ongoing blockade.
In a statement reported by Al Qahera News Channel, Hamas expressed appreciation for the efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey throughout the recent period.
Hamas emphasized that any ongoing negotiations must include the reconstruction of Gaza and the complete lifting of the blockade. The group also stated that discussions should involve the management of Gaza by an independent professional authority, aimed at ensuring long-term stability in the territory.
The movement confirmed its readiness to engage in a prisoner exchange, based on mutually agreed-upon terms. Additionally, Hamas declared its willingness to immediately enter intensive negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement to end the war.
