Egyptian actress, Hala Shiha has spoken more than once last year about undergoing plastic surgery to change her features after returning to acting again after years of retirement.

The actress revealed that she had undergone simple plastic surgery on her nose.

Shiha is now often faced with comments from fans about how she looked ‘way’ better before her plastic surgery.

The fans also found her last Ramadan to completely ‘unrecognizable’ after the screening of her new TV series “Kayanat Ahd”, starring veteran Egyptian actress Yousra.

Hala Shiha opens up about her plastic surgery

Shiha opened up about her plastic surgery during a television interview with TV anchor Wael El-Ebrashy, on the “Ninth” program broadcast on Egyptian state-owned channel one.

"I have had some plastic surgery done. It was a moment of madness, I wanted to see my look changed, but I regret it and I got upset with my appearance after the surgery, but I did not have time to change what I have done because of the shooting,” she said.

The actress added: “I am not against plastic surgery, but did not work for me, because simplicity was what characterized me. So I'll never undergo the plastic surgery experience again.”

In 2018, Shiha had surprised everyone by taking off niqab, and coming out of her retirement and resuming her acting again after 12 years of retirement, which was followed by taking off her veil.

Later on, she disappeared completely and flew to Canada to be with her Canadian husband, Joseph Hirsen, and children.

Shiha confirmed that her decision to return to acting again was very difficult, and came after deep reflection and careful consideration, and in the end, she found that it felt great psychological comfort with her decision.

The actress announced in April that she has split from Hirsen after more than 10 years of marriage.

The marriage resulted in four kids, two boys, and two girls.
