Haifa Wehbe to Resume Shooting “Eswed Fateh” on July 20

Lebanese adored superstar, Haifa Wehbe will resume July 20 shooting her new TV series “Eswed Fateh” (Light Black), in Beirut, Lebanon, after a 4-month hiatus.

Wehbe was planning to participate with the series in this year’s Ramadan, however, the filming got suspended due to the spread of the novel coronavirus and the suspension of air traffic.

Furthermore, when given the green light the series creators failed to catch up with the shooting schedule due to lack of time.

The cast will also reside in Lebanon to film the remaining scenes as they have more than 30 days shooting schedule, which will determine whether it will be screened in the coming period or in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.

“Eswed Fateh” also stars Rogena, Salamah, Ahmed Fahmy, Motasem Al Nahar, Sabry Fawwaz, Omar Al Saeed, Firas Saayed, Rania Mansour, Hossam Jneed, Hanan Sulieman, Nancy Salah, Nasser Saif, Nabeel Nour Al-Din, and others.

It is scripted by Amin Jamal and directed by Karim El Adl.

The series is a social drama genre that revolves around conflict and betrayal.

Haifa Wehbe’s upcoming projects

Wehbe is reportedly working on her new album. She is collaborating for the first time with composer Mustafa Shoukry for a song from his lyrics and composition within her new album, entitled “Miya Miya”.

Shoukry will present Wehbe in a new and different style from her previous songs.

Wehbe’s latest artistic work is lyrics video “Shaghla Kol Ennas“, and movie “Ashbah Europa” (Renegades of Europe).

The movie completed filming last year. The movie teaser featured Haifa Wehbe driving a motorcycle while detonating a car after a dangerous chase.

It also showed featured El Fishawy as a ladies’ man and Mostafa Khater in front of a laptop, which hints that he, might be a hacker.

The movie is directed by superstar Mohamed Hamaki, in his directorial debut. It is written by Amin Gamal, Mohamed Abu Al-Saad, and Sherif Yousry.

The novel coronavirus was first reported in Wuhan, China, and has infected more than one million people and killed over 234,139 worldwide. It also hit several celebrities and top political figures around the world.

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared coronavirus a global pandemic as the new virus has rapidly spread to more than 800,000 people from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

Transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

Coronavirus can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes.

It is known that older people appear to be more vulnerable to the effects of the emerging virus.

The virus caused complete paralysis in all activities and events with large gatherings worldwide due to concerns over the spread of the virus.

People across the globe partake in self-isolation for 14 days as an effective precautionary measure to protect those around them and themselves from contracting COVID-19.

It is worth mentioning that Wehbe, born on March 10, 1976, is a Lebanese singer, actress, and TV anchor.

She won the title of “Miss South Lebanon” at the age of sixteen, which opened the doors for her to work as a fashion model, and to make appearances in music videos and in TV commercials.

Wehbe soon became among the most famous models in the Arab World and, with her stunning beauty, she was featured on the covers of many Arab magazines.

Thereafter, she worked after as an announcer on the A.R.T. television network, however, her love for music made her leave that path behind to start her music career.

In 2002, she released her first album, “Houwa El Zaman” (It Is The Time).

Moreover, Wehbe made her acting debut in the 2008 Pepsi-produced film “Sea of Stars”, which soon followed by many appearances in the Egyptian drama.

She has released over seven albums and more than a dozen songs.
